WORK PERMITS
Work permits allow a person that is not a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident to work for a specific period of time. These may be Closed Work Permits (can only work for one employer) or Open Work permits (can work for any employer).

LIVE-IN CAREGIVER PROGRAM
A live-in Caregiver is someone who lives in the home of the person that they provide care to and have a work permit issued under Live-in Caregiver Program. This includes people who care for the elderly, people with long-term illnesses as well as those that provide childcare. We can give you information on:
PERMANENT RESIDENCE
A Permanent Resident of Canada, is able to apply to work or study where they choose, and they do not require a work or study permit. There are several ways to apply for permanent residence. Staff at the Centre can assist in finding information on:
